Fees

Community Health & HACC Services

Whitehorse Community Health Service is committed to ensuring that the services it provides are readily affordable for all members of the community; clients should not be put under financial strain to pay WCHS fees.

The charging system indicates the fee to be charged for particular community health services (dental not included). It operates on the basis of two key considerations:

  • The income level of the person receiving the service; and,
  • That person’s ability to pay the fee.

No-one will be denied a service because of their inability to pay.

If you cannot afford the fee or have difficulty paying, you should discuss this with your service provider. Fees can be waived or reduced if they cause financial hardship.
