President - Ms Jane Boag

Jane Boag has been a Board member for eleven years and has been President for ten of those years. She is a qualified Occupational Therapist who also holds a post graduate diploma in Community Health. For several years, Jane worked in various public and not-for-profit hospital roles, before beginning a 14 year relationship with the Transport Accident Commission, culminating in senior leadership responsibility for personal injury claims management. Jane then held a senior management position with Australian Unity's private health insurance division, before moving to Benetas in January 2010 to take up the role of Executive Manager Residential Services.

Vice-President - Ms Vicki Wise

Vicki Wise is an occupational therapist with more than 20 years clinical experience and post-graduate qualifications in Ergonomics and Health Services Management. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute, rural and community health and an information service on equipment for people with disabilities. She currently works for Western Health, managing their Post Acute Care Program and Community Access Unit. She has a strong interest in the interface between hospital and community services.

Treasurer - Dr Kathleen Brasher

Dr Kathleen Brasher has extensive experience in the health sector, working as researcher, nurse, midwife, lecturer, parent educator and project officer. Her qualifications include a PhD in the sociology of health and illness, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Nursing) and a Certificate of Midwifery. As a member of the local community, Kathleen brings to the Board a rich understanding of the issues surrounding the promotion of health and mental health, and the importance of community-based primary care.

Director - Ms Marilyn Forde

Marilyn Forde joined Whitehorse Community Health Service in 2004. She has over 20 years experience as a CEO and non-executive director of private company and government boards. In addition to her roles as non-executive director of Whitehorse Health Service and of Forde and Associates, other director roles have included the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, the Curriculum Corporation, the Centre for Strategic Education, Education Impressions, as well as superannuation fund trusteeships.

In addition to pro-bono and paid consulting, Marilyn is an executive search consultant with Fish Nankivell Ogilvy and Watson, Australia’s oldest, locally owned search firm.

Director - Dr Jodie Leditschke

Dr Jodie Leditschke (PhD) has worked extensively in the field of forensic pathology. She has experience in the management of quality systems and research in the medical field. She has worked internationally and nationally in the management of disasters. She has been awarded a Commission from the Premier of Victoria and a Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal.

As a member of the local community she brings to the board an interest and need to assist in providing a continued high quality health service to the community of Whitehorse.

Director - Elwynne Kift

Elwynne Kift is a senior podiatrist, has worked in hospital, rehabilitation and private practice. Currently Elwynne continues to practice as a locum. During her career Elwynne has worked with the committee for the amalgamation of the Mt Royal Hospital and St Georges Hospital to the Inner Eastern Geriatric Service in 1991 and been involved with the preparation of policy and procedure manuals for the acute sector.

As a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and various other community groups Elwynne is highly engaged at the community level.

Director - Garfield Lee

Garfield Lee has a Bachelor of Business and currently works as an Associate Financial Controller for a Pharmaceutical company. His vast experience also includes a senior finance position in the Avaiation and Manufacturing industry. Garfield developed an interest in the health sector whilst working for a Health Care company and has always had an interest in community service. Garfield has been a member of the Lions Club and held a position of President and Vice-President.

Director - Dr Louise Kloot

Dr Louise Kloot (PhD, FCPA) is a professor of accounting with particular expertise in business management, and she has extensive experience in university management, research expertise in local government management, and significant experience as a board member. She was a non-executive director of DHSV for eight years, chairing at various times its Finance and Audit committees as well as its Human Research Ethics Committee. Louise is currently a Victorian divisional councillor for CPA Australia and an independent director of SouthEast Housing Cooperative.

Director - Anne Jordan

Anne Jordan has 15 years experience as a lawyer and has worked both in private practice and most recently as the General Counsel – Corporate & Company Secretary for an ASX listed property development company. Anne has extensive experience in property, commercial and funds management law. Throughout her career, Anne has gained extensive experience in the development and ownership of properties in the retail, office, industrial, residential and hotel sectors. Anne also has extensive experience in all legal aspects of Managed Investment Schemes and their associated compliance regime.

In addition to her legal responsibilities throughout the course of her time as a Corporate Lawyer, Anne has also held responsibility for compliance and governance matters. Anne gained experience in the not for profit sector working locally and internationally for an NGO.

Anne has a Law Degree from Melbourne University and is enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Corporate Governance with the CSA.
